Refund policy
When money comes back — cancellation, billing errors, a first month that disappointed, and what credits do not do.

Effective date: 18 September 2026
Part of the Terms of Service (clause 6.8).
WebCrew is a business service billed monthly per production website. This policy says when money comes back, so that neither side has to argue about it later.
1. The principle
You should not pay for something that did not work, and you should not be locked into a period you cannot leave. Because the plan is monthly and the price per site is small, the answer is usually to stop billing rather than to unwind an invoice — but where a refund is the honest outcome, we give one without making you fight for it.
2. Cancelling
2.1 You can cancel at any time in the product. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the service keeps running until then.
2.2 Monthly subscription fees already invoiced for the current period are not refunded on cancellation, because the service was available for that period.
2.3 Annual prepayments are refunded pro rata for whole unused months, less any prepayment discount already enjoyed.
3. When we refund
We refund, on request and without argument:
- A period in which the service did not work. If a fault on our side made the service materially unusable for you for more than 24 hours in a billing period, we refund that period's fees for the affected sites, pro rata.
- Sites billed in error. Staging or development sites billed as production, sites billed after disconnection, duplicate charges, or a price other than the one you were quoted — refunded in full for every period affected, without a time limit, as soon as either of us spots it.
- A first paid month that disappointed. If you cancel within thirty days of your first paid invoice, we refund that invoice in full on request. Once per customer, no explanation required.
- A change you did not accept. Where we increase a price or materially reduce functionality under clauses 12.1 to 12.3 of the Terms and you terminate at the effective date, prepaid fees for the unused remainder are refunded pro rata.
4. When we do not refund
- Credits. Purchased credits are not refundable in money. Unused credits remain usable per the price page, and unused daily allowance never rolls over — that is metering, not a purchase.
- Periods you simply did not use. An unused subscription is not a fault.
- Add-ons already delivered. A one-off service that was performed is not refunded because the outcome was not what you hoped, unless it was performed incorrectly.
- Fees owed for work already done where we terminate for your material breach.
5. How to ask
Write to service@webcrew.ai with the invoice number and one line about what happened. We answer within five business days and, where a refund is due, pay it to the original payment method within ten business days of agreeing it.
6. Your statutory rights
This policy adds to your rights under Dutch law; it does not replace them. WebCrew is a business service, so the consumer right of withdrawal does not apply — clause 2.4 of the Terms says why.
